About the Role

We are seeking a

Lead Software Engineer - Digital Assets

with strong full-stack development expertise.

This award-winning engineering team has a proven track record of delivering business value through innovative, cutting-edge technology solutions. Engineers are passionate about AI and leverage AI-driven development tools as part of a modern full-stack engineering culture.

The team utilizes both

Kubernetes-based on-premises cloud

and

public cloud infrastructure

to deploy enterprise solutions. Engineers collaborate with peers in the office three days per week while partnering with a dedicated first-line support organization to maintain focus on delivery.

The Agile product model promotes close collaboration and shared ownership with business stakeholders, providing meaningful opportunities to deepen business expertise while delivering highly impactful solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead complex technology initiatives, including enterprise-wide projects with broad organizational impact.
Participate in developing engineering standards and company-wide best practices for large-scale technology solutions.
Design, develop, test, debug, and document applications for projects and programs.
Review and analyze complex technology solutions to support tactical and strategic business objectives while addressing enterprise technical challenges.
Make key engineering decisions by applying industry best practices and emerging technologies to drive innovation and successful project delivery.
Influence and lead technology teams to meet deliverables and support new initiatives.
Collaborate with technical experts, senior technology leaders, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve business goals.
Required Qualifications
7+ years of professional software engineering experience (or an equivalent combination of work experience, training, military service, or education).
7+ years of hands-on development experience with

Java

and/or

React with TypeScript .
5+ years of experience designing and building

APIs

and

microservices .
2+ years of experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership.
5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, consulting, training, military service, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with

.NET , trading systems, or market data protocols such as

FIX .
Experience conducting code reviews, ensuring code quality, and supporting production readiness.
Hands-on experience with end-to-end/UI testing frameworks including

Playwright ,

Cypress ,

Selenium WebDriver , and

Cucumber/Gherkin (BDD) .
Experience building RESTful services using

Spring Boot .
Experience with cloud-native architectures, including container platforms such as

Kubernetes .
Working knowledge of software architecture and solution design principles.
Experience with

CI/CD pipelines ,

GitHub-based workflows , and modern developer tools such as

Visual Studio Code .
Knowledge of application security practices, including identifying and addressing vulnerabilities using tools such as

SonarQube .
