The Opportunity
FOCO is seeking a Graphic Designer – Graphic Tees to lead the creation of compelling, licensed sports apparel graphics across our growing product portfolio.

This role is responsible for developing original, trend-forward designs that align with league and brand guidelines while bringing fresh, fan-driven storytelling to life. You’ll collaborate closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Merchandising, and Licensing to deliver high‑quality designs from concept through production.

This is an ideal opportunity for a creative professional with strong sports, apparel, and licensed product experience who thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.

What You’ll Do
Apparel Graphic Design

Create original graphics for licensed sports apparel, with a focus on graphic tees

Develop master artwork files, including full production‑ready design specs

Ensure designs align with league, team, and brand guidelines

Production & Technical Design

Build detailed art packages including sizing, callouts, BOM elements, and print specifications

Prepare files for multiple embellishment techniques (screen print, heat transfer, embroidery, appliqué, etc.)

Apply strong typography, layout, and composition skills to all designs

Trend & Concept Development

Research sports, fashion, and pop culture trends to inform design direction

Develop mood boards, concept decks, and seasonal creative direction

Create non‑calendared and special request designs for key initiatives

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

Partner with Product Development, Merchandising, and Licensing teams

Support presentation decks and seasonal assortment reviews

Communicate creative ideas clearly and confidently to internal stakeholders

What You’ll Bring
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field (or equivalent experience)

4+ years of experience in apparel design, preferably in sports or licensed products

Strong portfolio showcasing apparel graphics and production‑ready work (required)

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)

Strong typography, color, and composition skills

Knowledge of production art and apparel embellishment techniques

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects

Preferred

Experience working with licensed sports leagues (NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL, MLS, NCAA)

Exposure to entertainment or character‑based brands

Experience in retail, DTC, or consumer products environments

Familiarity with project management tools
