We're looking for an experienced Media Buyer to take full ownership of a client list, managing traditional media buys from start to finish across linear television and streaming. You'll handle day-to-day maintenance along with the monthly and quarterly routines that keep campaigns running smoothly, all with the goal of driving maximum efficiency across every campaign. We pride ourselves on our vendor-partner relationships, and a big part of this role is building and maintaining open lines of communication.

MISSION:
To place all media buys to produce maximum results for clients and maintain strong vendor relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Negotiate and place media schedules for linear TV and out-of-home in new and existing markets.

Includes rates and added-value opportunities

Creates optimal buys related to cost efficiency and lead volume.

Build and maintain ongoing relationships with station reps and vendors.

Coordinate with Media Support for monthly and quarterly tasks.

Coordinate station/dub trafficking with internal Traffic Manager

Manage media schedules by the ongoing approval of makegoods and revisions

Analyze monthly tracking reports to revise schedules

Review client lead numbers and spot outliers

Reconcile monthly station invoices for designated market list to meet accounting deadline

Maintain media and client critical stats information

Run quarterly posts on designated markets and ensure that under delivery schedules run

Update cj Track with station info quarterly

Provide any assistance necessary to meet all media deadlines

Work with VP of Media and Associate Director of Media to present relevant media buy information to clients, as needed

Analyze station package offers, as needed.

Prep and attend market trips, as needed.

Assist with requesting and checking station contracts each quarter, as needed

REQUIREMENTS

3-5 years of media buying experience, including linear television and streaming

Knowledge of Strata software a plus

Knowledge of Microsoft Office software with proficiency in Excel

Excellent attention to detail

Self-driven and a quick learner

Out-of-Home buying experience a plus
