Freelance Editorial & Copywriting Roles
I'm looking for talented writers to join an 8 week assignments supporting content production around a major global tournament.
If you have a genuine passion for gaming and a strong understanding of competitive gaming culture, this is a chance to be right at the centre of one of the biggest moments in the global gaming calendar.
Editorial Scriptwriter

Maintain daily & weekly rolling summaries of key results, upsets, storylines, and standout player moments across all tournaments
Produce daily and weekly documentary planning guides to support editorial prioritisation
Write 1–2 minute highlight recap scripts for daily/weekly reels, including VO direction and key moment callouts
Copywriter / Editorial Writer

Write daily editorial content including feature stories, player profiles, tournament recaps, and live coverage across event channels
Develop compelling copy for digital, social, and broadcast platforms
Collaborate with production, social, and editorial teams to surface and shape emerging storylines
Turn live moments into fast, engaging content for fans and partners
Ideal profile (both roles)

Strong passion for gaming and esports culture
Excellent storytelling and editorial writing skills
Sharp editorial judgment and ability to identify narratives quickly
Experience in fast-paced live events, sports, entertainment, or esports environments
Comfortable working in cross-functional creative teams
Availability

MUST be able to work from Monday 6th July - Sunday 23rd August
