Anthropic’s mission is to create reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems. We want AI to be safe and beneficial for our users and for society as a whole. Our team is a quickly growing group of committed researchers, engineers, policy experts, and business leaders working together to build beneficial AI systems.
About the Role
We’re looking for a creative, high-agency content producer to help us tell internal stories about the people and work at Anthropic. In this role, you’ll work closely with the Internal Editorial Lead to discover and share stories about the progress, moments, and people that define our culture through videos, audio, physical artifacts — whatever format makes the most sense for the material.
We’re looking for someone who is extremely creative. The work is wildly interesting, and the way we share it should be equally compelling. This person should be ambitious in their pursuit of thinking outside the box, willing to take risks, and not be precious about the final product being a little rough around the edges.
What You’ll Do
- Work with the Internal Editorial Lead to identify the stories
- Tell those stories in unexpected ways (e.g., through videos, in‑office pop‑up exhibits, podcast series)
- Own the end‑to‑end content production process in-house
What We’re Looking For
- A knack for finding and building narratives
- Experience producing content in different mediums (e.g., video, audio, physical artifacts)
- Experience in high‑trust, time‑sensitive environments
- Ability to move extremely quickly and fluidly
- Based in San Francisco
The annual compensation range for this role is $295,000 – $345,000 USD.
Logistics
- Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
- Required field of study: A field relevant to the role as demonstrated through coursework, training, or professional experience
- Minimum years of experience: Years of experience required will correlate with the internal job level requirements for the position
- Location‑based hybrid policy: Currently, we expect all staff to be in one of our offices at least 25% of the time. However, some roles may require more time in our offices.
- Visa sponsorship: We do sponsor visas. We will make reasonable efforts to obtain a visa for an offer recipient.
How We’re Different
We believe that the highest-impact AI research will be big science. At Anthropic we work as a single cohesive team on just a few large‑scale research efforts and we value impact—advancing our long‑term goals of steerable, trustworthy AI—rather than work on smaller and more specific puzzles. We view AI research as an empirical science, which has as much in common with physics and biology as with traditional efforts in computer science. We are an extremely collaborative group and we host frequent research discussions to ensure that we are pursuing the highest-impact work at any given time.
Equal Employment Opportunity
As set forth in Anthropic’s Equal Employment Opportunity policy, we do not discriminate on the basis of any protected group status under any applicable law.
