Job Summary

Everest Global, Ltd. seeks an experienced PR and Communications Specialist to support the marketing and public relations strategy for our reinsurance and insurance divisions. This role will support our marketing and communications leads, executing integrated campaigns that elevate our brand position, communicate our strategic value proposition, and build strong relationships with key media and industry stakeholders across the US market. Reporting to the Head of Reinsurance and Strategic Initiatives, this position is integral to translating complex reinsurance and insurance expertise into compelling, market-ready messaging and content. This is a hybrid position in either our Warren, NJ or New York City office, working 3 days onsite and 2 remote.
Responsibilities

Support execution of integrated marketing and PR strategy across reinsurance and insurance segments
Develop and refine key messaging, positioning statements, in collaboration with internal subject matter experts and leadership
Support media relations efforts, including pitching stories, drafting briefing documents, preparing executives for interviews, securing placements, and monitoring industry coverage
Create high-quality written content including briefing documents, white papers, fact sheets, executive messaging, thought leadership pieces, and website copy
Support events including Everest-sponsored/driven events and industry conferences
Support internal organizational communications including leadership appointments, team restructures, changes, etc.
Manage social media strategy and content calendar; create engaging posts, graphics, and copy for LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to translate technical or complex (re)insurance concepts into clear, accessible messaging for diverse audiences
Work cross-functionally with agency partners on campaigns, creative development and events
Oversee and contribute to brochure development, data sheets, case studies, and other marketing collateral
Track and report on PR and communications metrics, media coverage, and campaign performance; provide insights and recommendations for improvement
Stay current on industry news, competitive landscape, and market trends to inform strategy and identify earned media opportunities
Qualifications

6–10 years of professional experience in PR, communications/marketing, with experience in either agency or in-house environments
Experience in financial services, B2B communications, or complex industry sectors; working with publicly traded companies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to craft clear, compelling narratives across multiple formats and audiences
Proven experience with media relations, including media outreach, pitch development, and journalist relationship management
Demonstrated ability to work with subject matter experts and translate technical information into accessible, market-ready content
Experience managing social media strategy and content creation for professional or B2B brands
Strong project management skills; ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively with internal teams and external agency partners
Proficiency with standard marketing and design tools (experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, Canva, Adobe Suite, or similar platforms a plus)
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of the insurance and/or reinsurance industry; understanding of market dynamics, key players, and industry terminology
Experience in reputation management
Track record of securing media placements in tier-one or industry-specific publications
Experience developing executive thought leadership programs or leadership positioning
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Journalism, or related field
Strong analytical skills, with experience using data and media intelligence tools to track performance and inform strategy
Ability to work cross-functionally and collaboratively in a complex, matrixed global organization

The base salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
