Overview
The CMF Product Manager is a unique, hybrid role that sits at the intersection of customer operations and product strategy within restor3d’s newly established CMF business unit. This position requires a hands-on, customer-facing leader comfortable operating across case coverage, sales support, and cross-functional product commercialization. Approximately 80% of this role is focused on business unit operations—managing active cases, coordinating internal and external teams, and supporting sales growth—while 20% drives the product management functions needed to bring the active CMF program to market.

Responsibilities — 80%: Business Unit Operations & Customer Excellence

Maintain full awareness of all incoming and outgoing CMF cases; serve as the central point of coordination for case status, logistics, and resolution across internal and external stakeholders.

Provide direct clinical case coverage for cases, supporting surgeons in the OR and ensuring a high standard of clinical service.

Orchestrate internal teams (operations, logistics, clinical, regulatory) and external partners to ensure on-time, accurate product delivery for every case.

Build and maintain strong relationships with surgeon customers, hospital staff, and distributor partners to support case volume growth.

Develop and deliver sales training content and programs for sales representatives covering CMF product knowledge, case workflow, and competitive position.

Lead or support surgeon training and education initiatives, including cadaveric labs, in-service events, and conference education.

Partner with the sales team to identify pipeline opportunities, respond to customer inquiries, and accelerate adoption in target accounts.

Serve as a field-ready resource for representatives during critical early-stage case support and account development.

Responsibilities — 20%: Product Management & Commercialization

Lead or support commercialization activities for restor3d’s active CMF product project, working cross-functionally with corporate partnerships, internal R&D teams, and regulatory/quality/operations.

Engage Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to gather clinical input, validate product concepts, and build market-facing advocacy.

Develop product messaging, sales collateral, and launch materials aligned with the go-to-market strategy.

Translate customer and surgeon feedback into actionable product insights; communicate requirements to internal development teams throughout the product lifecycle.

Support financial and operational launch planning, including forecasting, pricing inputs, and inventory readiness.

Monitor post-launch performance and work with cross-functional teams to address clinical, operational, or market feedback.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, life sciences, or a clinical discipline.

2+ years of experience in medical device sales, product management, clinical support, or a combination thereof.

Demonstrated ability to provide direct clinical case coverage; comfort in the OR environment is required.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active cases and competing priorities simultaneously.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and coordinate across internal teams and external customers.

Willingness and ability to travel as required to support cases, training events, and customer meetings.

Ability to meet hospital credentialing requirements and work with cadaveric specimens.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in CMF, reconstructive, or head and neck surgery; familiarity with the CMF competitive landscape.

Prior experience in a startup or new business unit environment where processes were being built from scratch.

Experience developing or delivering sales training content and/or surgeon education programs.

Exposure to product commercialization within a medical device or surgical technology context.
