Responsibilities
Work closely with the ISE executive team to create and implement business development strategies focused on power generation customers. This includes identifying new business opportunities, developing relationships with potential partners, and executing the strategic business plans.
Provide voice of customer inputs for business development strategy, with an emphasis on equipment emission requirements, power generation equipment performance, and general power market competitive intelligence.
Provide responsive communication to customers and co-workers regarding potential projects, quote opportunities, and updates on existing proposals.
When necessary, coordinate with the sales team to manage key oilfield service accounts.
Coordinate the development of proposals in response to requests for proposals (RFPs) by working with other department heads, technical sales representatives, production engineers, and sales managers or directors to coordinate account set up, customer vision/specification, and product delivery.
Study and understand the power generation business environment and review emerging trends so NOV can exploit new opportunities ahead of the competition.
Deliver presentations and conduct seminars and meetings for clients, vendors, and advisors.
Build and strengthen relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors.
Periodically assist NOV Corporate Marketing Team with new product launches and marketing collateral for existing and newly commercialized products.
Attend regular industry networking events to promote NOV, continue relationship development and identify emerging trends.
Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Four‑year degree from an accredited university with a technical or business focus preferred.
Minimum 10 years of experience.
Strong computer skills.
Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships.
Travel required.
