Role Description

The Social Marketing Wizard internship is a hybrid role based in New York, NY, with flexibility for some work from home. In this role, you will support the creation and execution of social media campaigns that promote active lifestyles and increase engagement with the VATER App community. Day-to-day tasks include brainstorming content ideas, drafting and scheduling posts, monitoring social channels, responding to community interactions, and assisting with basic performance tracking. You may help with simple graphic or video assets, collaborate with product and marketing team members, and contribute creative ideas for experiments and growth initiatives.
Qualifications
Foundational skills in social media content creation, including writing short-form copy and developing engaging post ideas.
Basic understanding of social media platforms (e.g., Instagram, TikTok, X, Facebook) and how audiences interact with content on each.
Interest in marketing, branding, and community-building, with a desire to learn how to grow and nurture an online audience.
Comfort using digital tools for scheduling posts, tracking simple metrics, and collaborating with a remote-hybrid team.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and tasks in a fast-moving environment.
Genuine interest in fitness, wellness, or behavior change and enthusiasm for supporting more active lifestyles.
Currently enrolled in or recently completed studies in marketing, communications, media, psychology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Openness to feedback, willingness to experiment, and a collaborative approach to working with diverse teammates.
