The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
Following a variety of clearly defined procedures under general guidance. Work independently, although the scope for discretion is limited and the output is reviewed periodically while in progress. The work priorities are defined with the manager/supervisor.
Handling inquiries of moderate scope and complexity.
Producing deliverables consistent with plan objectives and strategies with supervisor direction.
Delivering design or design‑research content as an individual contributor.
Developing a working knowledge of brand/s and 3M guidelines, ensuring accurate implementation.
Studying design/market/technology research to interpret consumer feedback that assists in the completion of design requests and projects.
Participating in activities to learn new skills and apply them to the job.
Demonstrating professional curiosity and creativity in the application of design or design research skills to defined project goals and objectives.
Your Skills and Expertise
Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start).
Additional Qualifications
One (1) year of graphic design experience in branding, design or design‑research.
Skilled in Adobe Suite, design thinking, and knowledge of current trends.
Have a portfolio that showcases brand design, packaging, in‑store experience and brand standard guides.
Basic knowledge of industrial business B2B (Business to Business).
Work Location
Work location: This role follows an on‑site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN.
Travel
May include up to 20% domestic travel.
Relocation Assistance
May be authorized.
