We are looking to fill a client's need at a growing freight brokerage seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to build and manage a book of business. This is a cradle-to-grave position: you will prospect, sell, quote your own freight, build and schedule loads, and secure carrier capacity, supported by an experienced operations and account management team. Our focus is on high-value, damage-sensitive, temperature-sensitive, and time-critical freight.
What You'll Do Generate your own leads through cold outreach, in-person visits, and video prospecting
Sell freight and logistics services to SMB and middle-market shippers
Quote freight, build and schedule loads, and secure carrier capacity
Manage accounts end-to-end with a consultative approach to long sales cycles
Build lasting customer relationships rooted in execution and service
What We\'re Looking For Experience selling freight, logistics, or transportation services
A relationship-driven hunter comfortable with cold outreach and prospecting
Strong communicator who values execution and customer service
Understanding of consultative selling and long sales cycles
Self-starter able to build and manage their own book of business
Modes We Service Partial Truckload (PTL), Temperature-Controlled LTL, Reefer Truckload, Dry Van Truckload, Expedited, Box Trucks, Hotshots, LTL, Drayage, Intermodal, International, and Heavy Haul (emerging).
Tools You\'ll Use HubSpot (CRM), TAI (TMS), ZoomInfo, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Vidyard, Highway, Carrier411, DAT, and Triumph.
