This is an Operator I role in silicone mixing with flexibility in butyl mixing functions.

What Success Looks Like:

Operate silicone mixer, coiling workstation, and butyl mixer.

Pre‑weigh and prepare raw materials including minors, sieve, and silicone ingredients.

Follow batch card instructions as written.

Input/scan raw materials for batching/inventory cycle counts.

Properly operate and maintain all equipment, tools, and testing apparatus.

Follow all work instructions.

Perform specific testing requirements on mixed batches.

Properly document batch records with lot numbers in the Que.

Perform silicone changeovers and end‑of‑run cleanouts.

Participate in safety layered audits.

Communicate with all co‑workers, leads, manager in an effective/timely manner.

Maintain and uphold the work area in compliance with 6S Standards.

Follow all Cardinal Safety Rules and policies; notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.

Perform the above duties in addition to any other requests deemed necessary by Manager

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

Must be able to lift a minimum of 55 lbs. on an infrequent basis.

Withstand extended periods of standing, walking, bending, pulling, pushing, climbing, use of stairs and ladders.

Work hours established by department management including 8‑12 hour shifts as needed to customer demands.

Pay range - $19.70 hr. commensurate with experience.
