Video Production Intern - New York

Summary

The New York office of Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP is looking for a Video Production Intern to support the Client Development & Marketing Department. Willkie is an elite international law firm of approximately 1,300 lawyers located in 16 offices in six countries. The Video Production Intern will assist with a variety of video production, photography, and content functions, including filming, video editing, event coverage, firm photography, creative content ideation, and cross-team collaboration. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual with strong videography, editing, and storytelling skills, proficiency in video editing software and Microsoft Office, and a genuine interest in legal marketing and communications.
This is a great opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience in a law firm environment. Candidates should be willing to work a minimum of 15 hours a week, not exceeding over 25 hours a week for a yearlong internship.
Responsibilities

Film, edit, and produce polished video content for both internal and external audiences
Develop and pitch creative ideas for engaging, on-brand video content
Capture high-quality video footage and photography at firm events, as directed
Provide general firm photography to support a range of needs across the organization
Collaborate closely with the wider Brand and Communications team on content projects that support stakeholders and departments throughout the firm
Qualifications

Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field, with current standing as a graduating senior or recent graduate
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to work collaboratively across teams
Ability to conduct research using various databases and online platforms
Self-motivated with ability to work independently and take initiative
Posted Salary Range
USD $19.00 - USD $22.00 /Hr.
