Production Technician I position supports our supply chain by operating processing equipment and contributing to continuous improvement across downstream, upstream, and central services.

Accountabilities

Operate processing equipment according to SOPs, MPRs, and SPRs in compliance with cGMP standards.

Prepare solutions, perform cell culture, purification, and formulation activities.

Train with a qualified Technician on operating process equipment and fulfill qualification requirements.

Follow and document cGMP processes and use Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES).

Contribute to problem‑solving on non‑routine production floor activities.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing.

Adhere to AstraZeneca values and behaviors.

Essential Skills/Experience: Production Tech I

0–1 year experience; High School Diploma.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively on assigned tasks.

Ability to comply with cGMP standards.

Computer proficiency.

Ability to follow instructions and directions.

Essential Skills/Experience: Production Tech II

0–1 year experience with Bachelor’s degree; >1 year with Associate’s; >2 years with High School Diploma.

Ability to work independently or collaboratively on assigned tasks.

Follow cGMP standards.

Computer proficiency.

Follow instructions and directions.

Prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards.

Prior experience in a bioprocessing environment, systems, or equipment operation.

Essential Skills/Experience: Production Tech III

1–2 years experience with Bachelor’s; >2 years with Associate’s; >3 years with High School Diploma.

Work independently or collaboratively on assigned tasks.

Follow cGMP standards.

Computer proficiency.

Follow instructions and directions.

Perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Prior experience with aseptic/cGMP standards.

Advanced prior experience in bioprocessing environments, systems, or equipment operation.

BS/BA degree preferred.

Desirable Skills/Experience

BS/BA degree preferred.

Degree in a STEM field.

Prior experience or exposure with aseptic/cGMP standards and environment.

Salary & Benefits
The annual base pay for this position ranges from $56,072.00 to $84,108.00. Hourly and salaried non‑exempt employees also receive overtime pay for qualifying hours. Benefits include a qualified retirement program (401(k) plan), paid vacation and holidays, paid leave, and health benefits (medical, prescription drug, dental, vision). Eligible employees may participate in short‑term incentive bonuses, equity‑based long‑term incentive programs (salaried roles), and retirement contributions or commission, depending on role.
