Overview
Highridge Medical is seeking a Senior Director, Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) to lead the company’s integrated S&OP process and strengthen alignment across demand planning, supply planning, operations, commercial, finance, and executive leadership. From Day 1, the role will establish a disciplined planning cadence, improve forecast accuracy, balance demand and supply, optimize inventory and service levels, and enable data‑driven decisions that support growth, profitability, and operational execution.
Responsibilities
- Lead and continuously improve the global Sales and Operations Planning process, including demand reviews, supply reviews, reconciliation, and executive S&OP decision‑making cadence.
- Partner with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Distribution, and Quality leaders to align demand forecasts, supply plans, capacity, inventory, and financial commitments.
- Translate commercial strategy, product demand, and market assumptions into actionable supply plans that support customer service, revenue, margin, and working capital objectives.
- Develop planning governance, metrics, and accountability routines to improve forecast accuracy, inventory health, supply reliability, service levels, and planning discipline.
- Lead scenario planning and executive trade‑off discussions related to capacity constraints, allocation decisions, product availability, inventory risk, excess and obsolete inventory, and demand variability.
- Oversee demand and supply planning processes for new product introductions, product lifecycle transitions, acquisitions, integrations, and discontinuations.
- Drive continuous improvement of planning tools, master data quality, reporting, and analytics to support timely, fact‑based business decisions.
- Build, lead, coach, and develop a high‑performing planning organization with clear roles, capabilities, and performance expectations.

- Deep knowledge of Sales and Operations Planning, Integrated Business Planning, demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and capacity planning.
- Strong ability to lead cross‑functional planning processes and influence senior leaders across commercial, finance, operations, and supply chain functions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate data, forecasts, constraints, and business assumptions into clear recommendations and executive‑level decisions.
- Strong business and financial acumen, including understanding of revenue, gross margin, working capital, service levels, and cost‑to‑serve trade‑offs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to present complex planning issues clearly and concisely.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and scenario‑planning capabilities.
- Ability to lead, motivate, coach, and develop teams in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree from a four‑year accredited college or university in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, S&OP, IBP, or related operational leadership roles. 5+ years of people leadership experience, including leading planning teams or cross‑functional planning processes.
Certifications
- APICS CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, PMP, or related certification preferred.
Travel
35% travel required.
