Mixing Assistant Responsibilities:
- Stage, verify, and prepare ingredients for production batches
- Assist with loading ingredients into mixers according to established recipes and procedures
- Transport mixed dough and materials to downstream operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the mixing area, equipment, and workstations
- Follow all GMP, HACCP, SQF, food safety, quality, and safety requirements
- Monitor ingredient inventory and communicate shortages or concerns to leadership
- Support production changeovers, sanitation activities, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Complete required production, quality, and inventory documentation accurately and timely
- Assist the Mixing Team Lead and Mixing Operators with daily operational needs to ensure production schedules are met
- Communicate production issues, food safety concerns, equipment problems, and opportunities for improvement in a timely manner

Requirements for Mixing Assistant:
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull ingredients, materials, and equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, wrists, arms, and shoulders
- Ability to frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, and climb stairs as needed
- Ability to safely handle and transport product trays, racks, and production materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with varying temperatures, noise levels, moving equipment, and food production machinery
- Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) and comply with all food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
