Pair Eyewear is seeking a Paid Search/SEO Manager to own the full search channel from campaign architecture, keyword strategy, and bid management across Search, Shopping, and Performance Max, to ad copy testing, feed optimization, and conversion tracking. There will be a strong emphasis on the analytical side: hitting customer acquisition cost targets, evaluating attribution, and understanding search's incremental contribution within the broader media mix. This role will report to our Director of Growth. You will own and scale our search presence across both paid and organic. You'll be our in‑house expert across Google Ads, Microsoft Ads and organic search strategy. This is a high‑ownership role sitting at the intersection of performance and content.

What You'll Do:
Paid Search

Own strategy, execution, and optimization of paid search campaigns across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads (Shopping, Search, Performance Max, YouTube, Demand Gen)

Manage and allocate a multi‑million dollar search budget to hit customer acquisition cost targets

Build and maintain a rigorous testing cadence around keywords, bidding strategies, ad copy & landing pages

Own feed management and segmentation opportunities

Stay ahead of platform changes (Demand Gen, SmartAI, PMAX evolution) and bring forward‑looking recommendations

SEO

Own organic search strategy across technical SEO, on‑page optimization, and content

Develop and execute a content strategy targeting high‑intent keywords across the eyewear space

Build and manage a link acquisition program to grow domain authority over time

Cross‑Channel

Partner with the data & analytics team to build reporting in Looker and ensure search data (paid + organic) integrates cleanly into our internal views

Collaborate with the creative team to align search messaging & asset evaluation across our campaigns

Coordinate with paid social and affiliate to align channel strategy, share keyword intelligence, and avoid cannibalization

Who You Are:

You're a full‑stack search expert who owns both paid and organic with confidence

You're analytical and can make decisions from data and translate performance into clear, actionable insights

You're a strong cross‑functional collaborator, comfortable working with other teams to get things done

You're a strong executioner, excited to develop scalable processes and systems as the channel grows

You move fast and prioritize well, balancing long‑term strategy with the day‑to‑day demands of a high‑growth DTC environment

Need to Have:

6+ years of hands‑on experience in paid search and SEO, ideally within DTC or e‑commerce

Deep fluency in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, and Microsoft Ads — you can build and QA campaigns yourself with expertise within Google Ads Editor

Experience managing $3M+ in annual search spend with demonstrable efficiency gains

Strong understanding of incrementality, attribution, and how paid and organic search fit into a broader media mix

Comfortable assessing and analyzing data within Looker

Nice to Have:

Experience with subscription or membership products

Background managing search for licensed partnerships or co‑branded collaborations

Familiarity with weekly or high‑cadence product drop environments

Experience with both brand and performance search strategies

Experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate testing velocity and workflow efficiency

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $90,000 - $110,000 and will depend on your skills, qualifications, and experience.
