ASSISTANT MARKETING MANAGER (Unpaid Volunteer Position)

Reports To: Marketing Manager
Assistant Marketing Manager supports the marketing function by planning, executing, and optimizing campaigns that drive brand awareness, user engagement, and community growth. This role bridges strategy and implementation — ensuring that all marketing efforts align with our brand’s mindful and conscious voice.
He/She will work closely with the marketing, content, and partnership teams to develop integrated marketing plans, track performance, and coordinate outreach campaigns for practitioners, seekers, and wellness events.
Key Responsibilities:
Marketing Strategy & Campaigns
Assist in developing and executing

marketing campaigns

across digital channels (social, email, paid, content, partnerships).
Support the

content and creative teams

in crafting campaigns aligned with wellness themes, seasonal trends, and community needs.
Coordinate

event promotions , including conscious workshops, retreats, and marketplace features.
Manage and track campaign calendars, deliverables, and performance reports.
Digital Marketing & Analytics
Collaborate on

SEO, SEM, and social media

optimization strategies.
Support

email marketing , including segmentation, automation, and A/B testing.
Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, GoHighLevel, etc.) and prepare regular performance dashboards
Partnership & Community Outreach
Assist in building and maintaining relationships with

wellness practitioners ,

holistic brands , and

event organizers .
Coordinate

cross-promotional collaborations , influencer campaigns, and affiliate marketing activities.
Support community engagement initiatives — newsletters, webinars, and wellness events.
Brand & Creative Coordination
Ensure

brand consistency

across all communication materials.
Collaborate with designers and content creators to produce visually aligned, meaningful marketing assets.
Manage digital content updates on the platform and social media channels.
Budget & Administration
Support in

budget tracking , vendor coordination, and campaign cost management.
Research trends, competitors, and new opportunities within the wellness and conscious living market.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.
2–4 years of experience in digital marketing, brand management, or community marketing (experience in

wellness, lifestyle, or startup sectors

preferred).
Strong understanding of digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Canva, GoHIghLevel, etc.).
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
Passion for wellness, holistic health, and conscious living is highly valued.
Strong analytical and reporting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working in a

startup

or

online platform

environment.
Knowledge of

SEO ,

content marketing , and

social media strategy

in the wellness space.
Familiarity with

wellness modalities

(yoga, meditation, Ayurveda, Reiki, energy healing, etc.).
Certification or coursework in

digital marketing ,

holistic wellness , or

brand storytelling .
Experience managing

community or influencer marketing

programs.
