What You Will Own

  • Drive the entire lifecycle of strategic acquisitions, from identifying potential partners to finalizing negotiations and successfully integrating new businesses.
  • Lead complex financial modeling and valuation analyses to inform key executive decisions and ensure every transaction delivers long-term value.
  • Shape our corporate strategy by identifying emerging market trends and evaluating potential opportunities that align with our long-term goals.
  • Influence executive leadership and board members by crafting compelling narratives and data-backed presentations that clarify the strategic rationale for high-stakes investments.
  • Own the due diligence process, ensuring rigorous analysis and mitigating risks to protect the company's interests and maximize transaction outcomes.
  • Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a high-performance culture that emphasizes accuracy, accountability, and collective success.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with external stakeholders, including investment bankers and private equity partners, to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities.

What You Will Bring

  • Seven or more years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, investment banking, private equity, or a corporate development role within a fast-moving industry.
  • Deep expertise in financial modeling, including merger and leveraged buyout models, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Proven success leading deal processes and managing cross-functional teams to meet aggressive deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets, company operations, and the nuances of the global payments or software landscape.
  • Expertise in leveraging financial research platforms like FactSet, Capital IQ, or PitchBook to build competitive intelligence and support strategic recommendations.
  • A decisive, ownership-oriented mindset that allows you to manage multiple high-stakes, unpredictable projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence key stakeholders and articulate complex concepts with clarity and confidence.
