Clinical Studies:

Summit is conducting multiple global Phase 3 clinical studies in oncology, including:

  • Non‑Small Cell Lung Cancer (NSCLC)
  • HARMONi: evaluating ivonescimab plus chemotherapy versus placebo plus chemotherapy in EGFR‑mutated NSCLC patients previously treated with a 3rd generation EGFR TKI.
  • HARMONi‑3: evaluating ivonescimab plus chemotherapy versus pembrolizumab plus chemotherapy in first‑line metastatic NSCLC.
  • HARMONi‑7: evaluating ivonescimab monotherapy versus pembrolizumab monotherapy in first‑line metastatic NSCLC.
  • HARMONi‑GI3: evaluating ivonescimab plus chemotherapy versus bevacizumab plus chemotherapy.

Ivonescimab is an investigational therapy not currently approved by any regulatory authority other than China’s National Medical Products Administration.

Overview of Role:

Reporting to the Vice President of Market Access, the Executive Director, US Market Access Strategy will develop and lead the US value strategy for ivonescimab’s launch indications. The role will design and execute market access and payer marketing strategies in collaboration with functions within Market Access and across the broader organization.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead development of US Market Access strategy to maximize value and ensure widespread patient access.
  • Design and implement value communication materials for use within the market.
  • Collaborate across the matrix organization, including HEOR, Pricing, Medical Affairs, Commercialization, Legal, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop strategies, tactics, and promotional tools for Payer and Key Provider Account field teams, informed by product value proposition and scientific platform.
  • Collaborate on pricing and contracting strategy, HEOR evidence generation plan, patient support programs, payer marketing, and account management tactics.
  • Lead regular discussions with internal and external partners to coordinate coverage and reimbursement approaches.
  • Work with stakeholders (Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Legal, Finance, Brand, CMC, Marketing, Sales, and Commercial Operations) to ensure reimbursement issues are understood and solutions are executed consistently and compliantly.
  • Lead the overall Market Access organization financial budget and projections.
  • Provide market access support for in‑licensing and out‑licensing business development initiatives as required.
  • Collaborate with legal, regulatory, and compliance stakeholders to ensure compliant development of market access initiatives.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Experience, Education and Specialized Knowledge and Skills:

  • BS/BA degree required; advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 12+ years of Market Access experience.
  • Oncology experience, especially NSCLC, and 2+ successful commercial launches in solid tumor oncology.
  • Strong understanding of payer value drivers within oncology.
  • Proven track record in US Market Access with established relationships at leading national and regional payers/IDNs.
  • Ability to leverage research, scenario analyses, and payer & pricing insights to generate global market access strategies that maximize product differentiation.
  • Skill in articulating and visualizing market access strategies to enhance communication and decision‑making.
  • Experience supporting development of payer value creation strategies and plans beyond clinical evidence, including integrated care and patient support programs.
  • Successful record of maintaining compliance with all applicable regulatory, legal, and operational rules.
  • Must be able to travel to support business priorities.

Pay Transparency

$245,000 – $307,000 USD

Actual compensation packages are based on factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. The total compensation package may also include bonus, stock, benefits, and/or other variable compensation.
