Role Overview
Self‑sufficient Marketing Manager responsible for executing the marketing strategy across retail, consumer‑packaged goods (CPG) and digital channels. Translate executive vision into campaigns, content and brand assets that drive revenue and customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities
Retail Marketing & In-Store Branding

Lead retail marketing initiatives, in‑store merchandising and branding across our portfolio of locations.

Develop and execute planograms, promotional materials and visual merchandising strategies grounded in value‑centric messaging.

Brand Development & Creative Direction

Oversee the creation, launch and marketing of new brands for upcoming retail locations.

Lead art direction, copywriting and graphic design for all company brands across retail, CPG and internal communications.

Maintain a cohesive brand voice that is accessible and value‑driven.

AI‑Driven Marketing & Technology

Leverage AI tools for design, copywriting, content generation, social media optimization and campaign efficiency.

Stay current on emerging AI marketing platforms and recommend and implement tools that improve output quality.

Collaborate with technology to launch websites, delivery platforms and loyalty apps that are brand‑aligned.

Digital Marketing, CRM & Social Media

Drive digital marketing efforts — content creation, social media management, CRM campaigns (text, email, loyalty programs).

Lead content development for social media, blogs and digital platforms for retail, CPG brands and CEO personal branding.

Manufacturing & CPG Marketing

Develop and implement marketing strategies for new CPG brands within the manufacturing division.

Public Relations & CEO Brand

Manage PR for corporate and CPG brands and the CEO’s personal brand.

Cross‑Functional Collaboration & Team Building

Partner with purchasing, sales, operations and technology to align marketing strategy with business objectives.

Help build the marketing department, manage and mentor staff and establish scalable processes.

Qualifications
Required

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field.

5+ years of progressive marketing experience with ownership of brand, digital and retail functions.

Hands‑on fluency with AI marketing tools for design, copy, scheduling and analytics.

Knowledge of cannabis consumer trends and competitive landscape.

Creative skills with a value‑centric, accessibility‑first design sensibility.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Experience with CRM software, email marketing platforms and social media management tools.

Comfort in a fast‑moving, entrepreneurial environment with limited resources.

Resilience and growth mindset; welcomes candid feedback.

Availability to work on‑site five days a week in Edina (remote work not available).

Preferred

Experience in cannabis, retail or CPG marketing.

Experience building or scaling a marketing function from the ground up.

Familiarity with regulatory and compliance standards in the cannabis industry.

Experience managing cross‑functional projects with minimal oversight.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary range: $85,000–$100,000, commensurate with experience.
