Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Ad Trafficker with 2-3 years of hands‑on experience in Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360) to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the end‑to‑end setup, implementation, and quality assurance of digital advertising campaigns, ensuring flawless execution and accurate data collection. This role requires a strong understanding of ad serving technologies, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent problem‑solving skills.
Responsibilities
Campaign Setup & Management:
Lead the comprehensive setup and configuration of digital ad campaigns, advertisers, and placements within CM360, adhering strictly to media plans, naming conventions, and client specifications.
Proactively manage campaign assets, ensuring all elements are correctly aligned and scheduled.
Creative Asset Management:
Independently upload, test, and assign a variety of creative assets (e.g., display banners, video, rich media, native) to the appropriate placements in CM360.
Conduct thorough quality assurance of creative functionality, compliance with technical specifications, and accurate landing page redirection across various browsers and devices.
Tracking & Tagging Expertise:
Generate, implement, and rigorously QA ad tags (e.g., display, video, click trackers) for diverse media partners and publishers.
Expertly set up and verify floodlight tags for conversion tracking, ensuring data accuracy and proper firing on client websites.
Proactively identify and resolve complex tracking discrepancies to maintain data integrity.
Reporting & Optimization Support:
Actively contribute to campaign performance analysis by generating standard and custom reports from CM360.
Provide actionable data and insights to media teams to inform ongoing campaign optimization strategies.
Monitor campaign delivery and pacing, promptly flagging any potential issues or under/over‑delivery concerns.
Quality Assurance (QA):
Implement and maintain rigorous pre‑launch QA processes for all campaign setups, tags, and creatives to minimize errors and ensure seamless campaign execution.
Conduct post‑launch checks to confirm campaigns are running as intended.
Communication & Collaboration:
Serve as a key point of contact, facilitating effective communication and seamless collaboration with internal teams (media planners, buyers, creative) and external partners (publishers, vendors).
Clearly articulate technical requirements, specifications, and timelines to all relevant stakeholders.
Technical Troubleshooting:
Proactively diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to ad serving, creative rendering, tracking discrepancies, and data reporting.
Escalate complex challenges to Google support or other vendor support teams when necessary, managing the resolution process.
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in media, branding or advertising analytics.
2-3 years of direct experience in ad trafficking, specifically with Google Campaign Manager 360 (CM360).
Proven expertise in setting up, managing, and troubleshooting various ad types and tracking methodologies.
Strong understanding of ad serving processes, digital advertising ecosystems (DSPs, SSPs), and performance metrics.
Proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment.
Preferred Skills
Experience with Innovid and/or Flashtalking.
Experience with other ad servers or demand‑side platforms (DSPs) like Google Ads, DV360, The Trade Desk, etc.
Familiarity with web debugging tools (e.g., Chrome Developer Tools).
Basic understanding of HTML, JavaScript, or other web technologies.
Experience with Ensighten Tag Manager.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, or a related field.
