Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site School Photographer role based in Weatherford, OK. The School Photographer will travel to local schools, set up photography equipment, and capture individual and group portraits of students, faculty, and staff according to predefined schedules. Daily responsibilities include preparing backdrops and lighting, organizing students efficiently, verifying student information, and ensuring consistent image quality. The role also involves maintaining and transporting camera gear, following safety and privacy guidelines, and providing a calm but fun, positive experience for students of all ages. The School Photographer will collaborate with school staff and the studio to meet deadlines, support ordering processes, and uphold the company’s quality standards.

Qualifications

No photography skills required, includes paid training.

Ability to manage on-site setups, including equipment transport, backdrop and lighting setup, and efficient tear-down.

Excellent interpersonal skills for working with children, families, school staff, and diverse communities in a patient and respectful manner.

Solid organizational and time-management abilities to follow schedules, manage large groups, and meet production deadlines.

Basic computer skills for image review and handling digital files.

Reliable transportation to the studio; transportation to schools and local sites will be provided; ability to lift and carry photography equipment as needed.

High school diploma or equivalent; prior school or event photography experience is preferred but not required.

Willingness to work seasonal or variable hours aligned with school calendars and photo days, including morning shifts as early as 5:00 am.

Must be able to pass a comprehensive background check, as you will be working in school environments and around children.
