Audio Visual Student Technician

Assist the University Audio‑Visual Department with AV setups and classroom technology support. The role requires a team‑oriented individual with flexible availability during Monday to Friday, 8a.m. – 5p.m., and occasional evening or weekend hours to cover events.
Responsibilities

Set up and configure speaker systems, projection equipment, and connect devices to projectors or televisions.
Load PowerPoint or other media content onto room computers and ensure proper display on projectors or TVs.
Support video‑conference calls using Cisco, Webex, Zoom, and other applications.
Assist with minor maintenance and troubleshooting of AV equipment during events.
Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students to meet event AV requirements.
Qualifications

No prior experience required; comprehensive on‑the‑job training will be provided.
Strong teamwork skills and willingness to work flexible hours, including brief evening or weekend sessions.
Basic technical aptitude with computers and audio‑visual equipment.
Compensation & Working Hours

Scheduled hours: 22 hours per week.
Pay rate: $10.00 to $11.00 per hour plus overtime for after‑hours and weekend events.
