What you will enjoy doing*

You will work 12 hour rotating shifts in a 24/7/365 environment

Starting and shutting down equipment and processes

Further, you will be monitoring and adjusting equipment and plant process operating parameters

Correctly performing valve line-ups is part of your role

You will be preparing equipment for maintenance work including lock-out-tag-out

Correctly and safely permitting maintenance work

Professional judgment for operating the facility safely, reliably, and efficiently at all times

Procedure development and training of new employees is required in this role

Effectively communicating with our customers and suppliers when required

You must be able to perform basic troubleshooting and recognize when to escalat... matters when more experienced specialists must be called in for support

What makes you great

You hold High School Diploma or GED equivalent

More than two (2 +) years Production Operations experience or Associates Degree with previous internship in Plant Operations

Strong interest in and experience with electrical and mechanical systems

You have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft applications)

Proficiency with a variety of hand tools, meters, instrument calibration equipment etc

Working knowledge of electricity, electrical systems, and motors

Must be able to climb ladders and steps, lift up to 50 lbs., and work at heights

Associates Degree or higher is preferred
