Production Technician

CSI provides hygienic pipe, valves, fittings, pumps, and heat exchangers to industrial companies and industrial service providers. The Production Technician performs a wide variety of responsibilities requiring a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks at one time. The successful candidate must be responsible, able to plan and execute daily work requirements with little supervision, and thrive as an individual contributor.

Duties Include Building crates and wooden boxes
Assist with cleanup of manufacturing area, buildings, grounds, and vehicle
Local pick-up and delivery of vehicles, material, parts, and equipment
Cleaning of parts for manufacturing
Removal of metal chip barrels, assembly and disassembly of parts and equipment
Packing products for shipment
Loading and unloading trucks, operating fork truck and scissor lift
Picking warehouse material
Persons in this position may be exposed to dust, noise, and temperature variations, both hot and cold. Lifting heavy objects during truck loading/unloading, parts washing/assembly, and daily cleanup is required.

Salary: $18 - $23 an hour

Carpentry experience is preferred. The role requires standing, bending, kneeling, and stooping. Employees must frequently lift/move items up to 75 pounds with assistance, have visual acuity for close and peripheral vision, and be able to operate personal protective equipment and a vehicle safely.
