The Role
We're looking for a Media Designer to join our team in a hybrid role based in Los Angeles. You'll be the go-to designer for decks, presentations, and marketing materials — both our company internally and for the brand clients we work with. This is a great fit for someone who loves turning ideas and raw content into polished, on‑brand visual stories, and who's comfortable moving quickly across multiple projects.

What You'll Do

Design and build presentation decks — pitch decks, client recaps, treatment decks, and internal strategy presentations

Create marketing and promotional materials for company and for brand clients, including social assets, one‑pagers, sales collateral, and campaign creative

Translate shoot footage, photography, and raw assets into polished recap decks and marketing content

Maintain and evolve brand visual standards across Koala and client‑facing materials

Collaborate closely with the production and account teams to understand project goals and turn them into compelling visuals

Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, often under tight production timelines

Prepare templates and design systems that can be reused efficiently across decks and campaigns

What You'll Bring

2–4 years of experience in graphic design, presentation design, or a related visual communications role

Strong portfolio demonstrating deck design, layout, and brand/marketing materials

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and presentation tools (Keynote, PowerPoint, or Google Slides)

Familiarity with Figma or similar tools for collaborative design work

Strong sense of typography, layout, and visual storytelling

Ability to work within established brand guidelines while bringing fresh ideas to the table

Excellent organizational skills and comfort managing multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment

Strong communication skills and ability to take and incorporate feedback from clients and internal teams

Nice To Have

Experience with motion graphics or basic video editing (After Effects, Premiere)

Background working in a production company, creative agency, or brand marketing team

Experience designing for entertainment, sports, or live events
