Responsibilities

Lemon8 is an interest‑based lifestyle and grass‑planting community product developed by ByteDance for overseas users, featuring image collections and short videos that deliver valuable content across beauty, fashion, food, travel, home lifestyle, fitness, art, pets and more categories. Sort out the current status of in‑app content creation and consumption through user research, data analysis, and other methods. Combine global user portraits and global market demands to sort out medium and long‑term topics and set corresponding goals.

Possess a strong content mindset. Continuously increase the supply of high‑quality authentic UGC posts by tapping into off‑platform hot topics and boosting the growth and interaction of in‑app UGC, so as to enhance the sense of community of the UGC ecosystem.

Be familiar with global creator market, understand the demands of creators and KOLs, and formulate corresponding strategies. Empower more creators to grow on Lemon8 and cultivate influential creators who can represent the Lemon8 platform.

Collaborate with Product, User Growth, and Marketing teams. Raise Lemon8’s popularity and reputation among target user groups through viral content operations, event marketing, traditional advertising, and market promotion approaches, and drive overall product growth.

Qualifications

Strong strategic thinking and logical reasoning capability; able to independently formulate strategies based on data analysis and content insight.

Excellent communication, teamwork, and management skills. Maintain an open and proactive mindset with flexible problem‑solving abilities; capable of breaking down and delivering targets independently or leading a team.

High sensitivity to content trends; familiar with social media operations and internet product growth methodologies.

Job Information
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $70,304 - $159,600 annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units.
