Core Responsibilities

Analyze and interpret contracts to summarize legal and guild screen‑credit obligations.
Anticipate and follow up on credit provisions that violate standard processes or precedences.
Create the exact layout for opening ("main") and closing ("end") titles for each project, ensuring strict adherence to guild rules and Sony policy.
Administer and coordinate multiple rounds of main and end titles, ensuring delivery deadlines and compliance.
Seek innovative solutions to guild and contractual credit restrictions.
Build and update forms and templates to improve team efficiency.
Advise and educate internal and external partners on best practices, precedents, and guild/union requirements.
Coordinate with Post‑Production, Legal Affairs, Creative, Business Affairs, Clearances, Music Legal and external stakeholders regarding all aspects of screen credits.
Track and reconcile credit revisions from internal departments and external partners.
Maintain a comprehensive "check‑K" document tracking inconsistencies between distributed credits and contractual items.
File preliminary documents such as WGA Notice of Tentative Writing Credits, wrangle and review script submissions, and confirm script cover sheets.
Liaise with guilds, provide information for arbitrations, handle protests, and obtain necessary waivers from DGA, WGA, SAG, Editors Guild, DGC, etc.
Vet all titles on final cuts and mastering deliverables for studio/streamer compliance before deadlines.
Apply Sony Pictures Entertainment credit standards to SPE movies not produced by SPE.
Supervise and direct coordinators, setting task schedules, reviewing and maintaining policy guidelines, and preparing forms for Academy, Golden Globe, BAFTA and other award submissions.
Lead meetings on RAISE with D&I, Privacy, Legal Affairs and Marketing, and collaborate on marketing and advertising summaries.
Qualifications

7+ years

of direct experience administering screen credits.
5+ years

of leading the screen‑credit process.
Union knowledge of domestic and international obligations: familiarity with WGA, DGA, SAG‑AFTRA, Editors Guild, DGC and relevant credit manuals.
Detail‑oriented auditor of names, titles and contractual obligations.
Strong information‑management skills, communicating directly with producers, legal affairs and studios under tight, fluid post‑production timelines.
Ability to work proactively, independently and reliably in fast‑paced environments.
Flexible, innovative and solution‑driven team player.
Experience creating and administering paid advertising items is a plus.
Salary & Benefits

The anticipated base salary for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. This role may also qualify for annual incentive and/or comprehensive benefits. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including qualifications, years of experience, level of education, certifications or other professional licenses, and location of the position.
