Associate Director, US Market Engagement - Vaccines and Infectious Disease
The Associate Director, US Market Engagement Lead will develop and communicate data-driven, actionable insights that deepen customer and market understanding to shape and operationalize launch strategies, supporting brand growth and commercial objectives. The role serves as the first point of contact for key marketing stakeholders’ digital, data, and analytics needs, prioritizing business demand and orchestrating insights across the broader digital human health organization.
The candidate will collaborate with teams in market research, forecasting, payer insights & analytics, data science, data strategy, and data solutions, identifying and operationalizing cutting‑edge methodologies to build scalable, compliant, AI‑assisted launch workflows that improve speed, consistency, and cross‑functional alignment.
Primary Job Function and Key Responsibilities
- Develop and interpret market maps to identify competitive landscapes and whitespace opportunities.
- Conduct targeting and segmentation analyses to optimize HCP and patient outreach strategies.
- Analyze launch performance metrics (e.g., uptake curves, prescription trends, market share shifts).
- Define and operationalize AI‑assisted launch workflows supporting planning, execution, and performance management.
- Partner with technical and business teams to pilot AI‑enabled workflows that improve launch coordination and insight synthesis.
- Align analyses with internal stakeholder business needs, delivering actionable insights to drive business objectives.
- Ensure delivery of high‑quality analyses with timeliness, compliance, and excellent user experience.
- Mine and analyze data using advanced analytical/statistical techniques from disparate databases/sources (claims data/EMR and others).
- Effectively convey and influence stakeholders through data‑driven storytelling.
Minimum Required Education
A minimum of a BS (or equivalent) in Marketing, Business Strategy, Business Consulting, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related scientific/commercial discipline. An MBA, master’s, or doctoral degree in Decision Science, Marketing, Engineering, Public Health, Biological Sciences, Nursing, Pharmacy, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or Medical Sciences is preferred.
Required Experience and Skills
- 5+ years of experience applying data science and analytical techniques to deliver measurable impact in the commercial pharmaceutical landscape.
- Experience in launch strategy, portfolio analytics, or US commercialization for specialty or vaccine assets.
- Proficiency with large language models (Claude, Gemini, or similar) and designing AI-driven workflows for real‑world application.
- Knowledge of machine‑learning and descriptive algorithms/modeling in Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience mining medical claims/EMR, social media, and other data to produce actionable business insights.
- Strong communication skills, using effective storytelling grounded in data insights.
- Ability to formulate and present actionable insights and recommendations through PowerPoint, PowerBI, or similar tools.
- Stakeholder management skills, communicating confidently across diverse backgrounds and seniority levels.
- Organizational skills to navigate a complex matrix environment and prioritize work efficiently.
Location
Upper Gwynedd, PA or Rahway, NJ (hybrid; office presence at least 3 days per week).
Salary
$156,900.00 – $247,000.00
