About Pendulum
Pendulum® is leading a revolution worldwide to improve physical and mental health by first understanding, then restoring and enhancing the human microbiome. Studies link the microbiome to metabolism, diabetes, longevity, weight loss, healthy immune systems, cancer prevention, well‑being, inflammatory bowel disease, and skin health. During early life the microbiome develops a diverse, balanced community that shapes long‑term health. Over time diet, lifestyle, antibiotics, and aging can reduce its effectiveness. Pendulum has built proprietary probiotic pipelines and a discovery platform to identify key bacterial strains and prebiotics that feed them, and has developed the world’s first manufacturing technology to produce bacteria in oxygen‑free environments at scale.
