This role would require you to be onsite 5 days a week in Somerset, NJ.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Financial Communications

  • Own and lead the Business Unit Review (BUR) process, partnering cross‑functionally to develop compelling performance narratives and strategic recommendations
  • Support the quarterly earnings process, coordinating marketing inputs, preparing key messaging, and ensuring accurate market context is reflected in investor communications
  • Contribute to annual 10‑K reporting by providing market data, competitive context, and category narrative in partnership with finance and legal teams

New Products & Market Expansion

  • Lead marketing strategy for new product launches and vertical expansion initiatives, from market sizing and positioning to launch planning and post‑launch tracking
  • Identify and evaluate whitespace opportunities across card categories, customer segments, and adjacent verticals to inform the product roadmap
  • Provide strategic marketing support for RFPs, crafting differentiated value propositions and ensuring proposals reflect current market positioning and competitive strengths
  • Develop sales enablement materials that equip commercial teams with compelling, insight‑driven content for key client engagements
  • Build and maintain a robust customer insights program, synthesizing VOC (voice of customer) data, usage trends, and cardholder behavior to inform strategy
  • Lead competitive intelligence efforts focused on card issuers — tracking product launches, pricing dynamics, partnership activity, and positioning shifts across the competitive landscape
  • Conduct ongoing market analysis to identify category trends, macroeconomic forces, and emerging technologies shaping the financial card industry

Media & Brand Partnerships

  • Serve as the primary relationship lead with media buying partners, overseeing strategy, planning, and performance accountability across paid media channels
  • Ensure media investment aligns with broader brand and demand generation objectives, optimizing for reach, efficiency, and measurable business impact

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or director‑level role
  • Experience in B2B marketing within financial services, fintech, payments, or adjacent technology sectors strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex market data and competitive insights into clear executive narratives and strategic recommendations
  • Proven track record supporting investor relations, earnings communications, or financial reporting processes
  • Strong cross‑functional collaborator with experience working alongside finance, product, and sales leadership
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to C‑suite and board‑level audiences
  • Proficiency with market research tools, analytics platforms, and media planning frameworks
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
