This position is an on-campus, full-time, 12-month appointment based in Champaign, Illinois covered by the Professional Support Staff (PSS) Union with an annual salary of $53,809.60.

The Multimedia Support Specialist provides audio visual, digital signage, and lecture capture system support for Parkland College and individual departments. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining and supporting audio visual (A/V) technology such as projectors, cameras, microphones, AV control systems, etc. within instructional, conference, collaboration, athletic, and public spaces; lecture capture technology; as well as digital signage across the Parkland College campus. This position also serves as a video engineer role in support of PCTV. This position provides direct support for students, faculty, and staff on a variety of technology and multimedia equipment and services. This position reports to the Associate Director of Multimedia Support.
The Multimedia Support Specialist is a full-time, non-exempt appointment on a schedule established by the Associate Director for Multimedia Support. Internal and external events occasionally necessitate an altered work schedule. The Multimedia Support Specialist must be able to work independently and as part of a team, troubleshoot equipment and systems, and accurately prioritize tasks. Common work interactions include Technology Client Services staff members, faculty, administrators, students, and members of the community.
