The Marketing Advisor serves as a client relationship and account management resource, helping clients understand their marketing performance, navigate available services, and maintain a positive overall experience. This role acts as a liaison between clients and internal marketing teams, facilitating communication, reviewing performance reports, and ensuring client needs are addressed in a timely manner.

The Marketing Advisor possesses a strong understanding of digital marketing concepts and performance metrics but is not responsible for developing marketing strategies, managing campaigns, or directing channel-specific execution. Instead, this role focuses on client engagement, reporting discussions, account retention, and identifying opportunities to strengthen client partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as a primary point of contact for routine client communications, account questions, and service‑related requests.

Conduct proactive account reviews and client check‑ins:

Clients with annual marketing investments exceeding $75,000: monthly account review calls.

Clients with annual marketing investments under $75,000: quarterly account review calls, with additional touchpoints as needed.

Review marketing performance reports with clients, helping them understand key metrics, trends, and outcomes while coordinating follow‑up questions with internal subject matter experts when necessary.

Maintain a working knowledge of digital marketing channels, including paid search, SEO, social media, websites, Local Services Ads, and other core marketing products to effectively support client conversations.

Coordinate client requests, project submissions, budget reallocations, and internal follow‑up activities.

Collaborate closely with Channel Marketing teams to communicate client feedback, concerns, and business objectives.

Monitor account health and client satisfaction, proactively addressing concerns and escalating issues when appropriate.

Identify opportunities for additional services, budget expansion, or product adoption and communicate those opportunities to the appropriate Account Development Manager or Sales Manager.

Maintain accurate account records within CRM systems, including meeting notes, client communications, action items, and growth opportunities.

Assist with preparing client reports, presentations, and meeting materials.

Ensure timely follow‑up and resolution of client requests through effective coordination with internal teams.

Job Role

Acts as a liaison between clients and internal marketing teams, ensuring client needs and expectations are communicated effectively.

Facilitates regular account reviews focused on performance reporting, business objectives, and client satisfaction.

Identifies growth opportunities while supporting broader retention and revenue goals.

Supports client understanding of digital marketing programs without directing strategy, campaign management, or optimization efforts.

Contributes to long‑term client retention by delivering a positive and seamless account experience.

Location
This is an

on‑site role (Monday–Friday)

at our office near Hidden River Parkway (Fletcher & I‑75). Hybrid and/or remote work is not available.

Work is normally performed in a typical interior office environment that requires normal safety precautions such as typical office or administrative work.

Physical Demands

Job involves sitting most of the time; walking, lifting, bending, and standing may be minimally required to complete tasks.
