Position Summary
The Regional Advertising & Digital Solutions Consultant is responsible for driving advertising, digital marketing, and sponsorship revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the development of strong relationships with existing Better Business Bureau Accredited Businesses. This consultative sales role focuses on understanding client objectives and delivering customized marketing, advertising, and digital solutions that help businesses build trust, increase visibility, generate leads, and drive business growth.

The successful candidate will identify opportunities, develop strategic recommendations, and serve as a trusted advisor to clients while contributing to the organization's overall revenue and growth objectives. This role requires a strong understanding of both traditional advertising and digital marketing solutions and the ability to recommend integrated marketing strategies that deliver measurable results.

The Regional Advertising & Digital Solutions Consultant is expected to become a subject matter expert in BBB advertising products and digital marketing solutions, helping businesses navigate an increasingly complex marketing landscape and identify the strategies that best support their growth objectives.

Omaha, Nebraska or Overland Park, Kansas (Monday–Friday, in-office)

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Business Development

Prospect and develop new advertising, digital marketing, and sponsorship opportunities through research, networking, referrals, and outbound outreach.

Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve individual and departmental revenue goals.

Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing Accredited Businesses through additional advertising and marketing solutions.

Develop and present integrated marketing solutions that may include BBB.org advertising, social media management, website services, search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising, email marketing, reputation management, sponsorships, event marketing, newsletters, and other BBB marketing products.

Client Relationship Management

Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospective clients.

Conduct needs assessments to understand business objectives, target audiences, and marketing challenges.

Serve as a trusted advisor by recommending solutions that align with client goals, budgets, and growth objectives.

Sales Presentations and Proposal Development

Create and present customized advertising, sponsorship, digital marketing, and media proposals.

Effectively communicate the value of BBB programs, products, digital solutions, and advertising opportunities.

Negotiate agreements and close new business while maintaining long‑term client relationships.

Campaign Coordination and Account Support

Collaborate with internal teams to ensure advertising campaigns, digital marketing programs, sponsorships, and marketing initiatives are executed accurately and on schedule.

Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with updates, insights, and recommendations.

Assist with renewals and retention efforts to maximize client satisfaction and revenue growth.

Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, digital marketing developments, and local business conditions.

Utilize market insights to identify opportunities and provide strategic recommendations to clients.

Performance Reporting

Maintain accurate records within CRM and sales management systems.

Track sales activity, revenue performance, pipeline development, and key performance metrics.

Prepare reports and participate in regular sales and performance review meetings.

Partner with Marketing, Communications, Operations, and Business Development teams to support organizational objectives.

Contribute ideas for new advertising products, digital marketing services, sponsorship opportunities, and revenue-generating initiatives.

Qualifications
Experience

Proven success in advertising sales, media sales, digital marketing solutions, sponsorship sales, business development, or a related field.

Demonstrated ability to prospect, build relationships, and consistently achieve sales goals.

Experience selling digital marketing solutions such as social media management, websites, search engine optimization (SEO), digital advertising, email marketing, reputation management, CRM platforms, or related services is strongly preferred.

Skills

Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.

Strong consultative selling and problem‑solving abilities.

Strong understanding of digital marketing strategies and the ability to translate complex marketing concepts into business solutions for clients.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast‑paced environment.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Equivalent professional experience will be considered.

Technical Proficiency

Experience using CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong knowledge of digital advertising, social media marketing, email marketing, search marketing, website solutions, reputation management, and related digital marketing technologies.

Experience presenting and selling integrated marketing solutions that combine traditional advertising, digital marketing, sponsorships, and promotional opportunities is preferred.
