In this position, the candidate will be supporting new work coming into Operations and will be creating manufacturing packages to produce high-quality products. The candidate will be working with HVAC systems and components including but not limited to: enthalpy & sensible plate heat exchangers, energy recovery wheels, gas and electric heaters, hot water coils, cold water coils, DX coils, filter racks, control dampers, fan array systems, etc.Key Responsibilities:Project management and project ownership from job release to job completionPurchasing components and vendor managementCommunicate with clients and vendors to obtain materials and/or equipment neededCreating manufacturing packages including shop drawings, and assembly instructionsProviding shop/Manufacturing supportCreate engineering solutions for sheet metal design optimizationParticipate and/or lead Continuous Improvement effortsSupport sales team with design review to ensure successful installationQualifications & Requirements:Required:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering3+ years of professional experienceSolidworks experience2D CAD experienceProficient in Microsoft Office SuitePreferred:Experience in the commercial HVAC industryLean Six Sigma certificationKey Competencies:Attention to small detailsMust work well in a team setting, and have great verbal and written communication skillsOrganizational skillsEfficient with time managementCritical thinker / Problem SolverGood attitude and motivated personality are key in this roleSolution focused mindset when faced with production challengesBenefits:Medical, vision, and dental plansShort-term and long-term disability insuranceGroup term life insurance coverageHSA plan availablePaid holidays and generous PTO policy401k matchingCompany paid eventsAnnual safety shoe allowanceEducation assistance programEEO Statement:MAS HVAC is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace where all individuals are treated with respect and dignity.
