GRAPHIC DESIGNER

Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary is seeking a creative, mission‑minded Graphic Designer to help recruit students and advance the college’s mission through compelling visual communication. Working with the Marketing team, this position creates print and digital marketing materials for admissions, academics, athletics, the seminary, bookstore, and campus events while maintaining a consistent institutional brand.

The ideal candidate is proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, has a strong foundation in graphic design and marketing, and enjoys collaborating with a variety of campus departments. Success in this role requires creativity, excellent organization, strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while producing high‑quality work that reflects the excellence and mission of Faith Baptist Bible College & Theological Seminary.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Creative Design and Production

Design print and digital marketing materials for the college, seminary, bookstore, and athletics, including:

Brochures, postcards, advertisements, web banners, email graphics, and social media graphics

Logos, event branding, apparel, merchandise, and promotional materials

PowerPoint presentations, stationery, posters, programs, and other campus publications

Design and oversee production of the annual college yearbook.

Create layouts for newsletters, magazines, and other institutional publications.

Brand and Marketing Support

Maintain and champion consistent visual branding across the college, seminary, and all marketing channels.

Collaborate with departments across campus to develop effective marketing materials that support enrollment and institutional goals.

Coordinate with printers and outside vendors to ensure high‑quality, cost‑effective production.

Digital Media and Department Support

Manage and organize institutional photography files.

Provide backup support for:

Website updates and basic coding

Photography and videography

Social media content and posting

Manage design software resources and assist in training part‑time staff.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Education and Experience

2 or 4 year degree in Graphic Design or a related field. Consideration will be given to equivalent Certificate Completion with professional experience.

Coursework or experience demonstrating proficiency in color theory, typography, layout, and commercial marketing design.

Technical Skills

Advanced proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.

Familiarity with Canva and similar collaborative design platforms.

Understanding of print production and digital asset preparation.

Basic knowledge of web design principles and familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems.

Professional Skills

Excellent visual design, typography, and layout abilities.

Strong organizational and project management skills.

Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Positive attitude toward constructive feedback and continuous improvement.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in marketing, branding, or copywriting.

Experience managing social media content.

Photography or videography experience.

Experience working with multiple clients or departments simultaneously.

Experience in higher education, nonprofit organizations, or ministry settings.

Academic Qualifications

At least two years of education or experience in an office environment is preferred.
