Job Summary
The Producer will be primarily responsible for prospecting, networking, and producing P&C and/or Commercial and Personal Lines policies and accounts as well as the renewal retention of existing policies. The Producer should work seamlessly with their service staff to manage their book of business with timely and efficient service.
Essential Functions
Leverages personal networks, local connections and community partners to generate new business opportunities.
Markets insurance risks to companies in accordance with the practices, policies, and procedures of the company and in compliance with industry law.
Conducts sales, service, and solicitation of all forms of insurance business.
Maximizes growth and client retention through superior customer service.
Develops accounts and leverages cross-selling opportunities for available products and services.
Generates and pursues new client opportunities; brings new business prospects to closure.
Represents Dodge Partners Insurance services and solutions at prospect meetings.
Builds and maintains strong business-to-business relationships to support long-term client retention.
Actively manages and updates expiration lists using both internal databases and external sources.
Provides prompt follow-up on client referrals to ensure a high level of service and engagement.
Conducts targeted prospecting calls to identify business needs and growth opportunities.
Gathers information to prepare competitive quotes and markets accounts to carriers, collaborating with support staff as needed.
Keeps current on industry trends and regulatory changes; actively pursues ongoing professional development and continuing education.
Works with the Account Managers to complete pre-underwriting, information gathering, submissions, coverage analysis, and proposal presentations as needed.
Effectively builds relationships with insurance company underwriters through a pattern of professional risk submissions, company visits, and negotiations.
Accurately maintains prospects, new, and renewal business in the agency management system.
Demonstrates company core values.
Reasonable and reliable attendance and timeliness when reporting to work and completing work.
Interacts well with others.

Education/Experience/Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
A minimum of two (2) years of experience in insurance or a related industry; extensive knowledge of personal lines coverage and carriers preferred.
Nebraska Property & Casualty Insurance License preferred. If hired, must obtain and maintain a license.
Additional designations a plus.

Special/Physical Requirements (denote if office, hybrid, remote):
