Responsibilities

Define and execute the long‑term vision for technical publications, aligning content strategy with product roadmaps and company OKRs.

Recruit, mentor, and scale a high‑performing team of technical writers, information architects, and localization specialists.

Modernize content infrastructure: implement and manage modern CCMS platforms, AI‑driven search, and automated publishing pipelines.

Partner closely with Engineering, Product Management, UX, and Customer Success to ensure documentation is integrated seamlessly into the user journey.

Establish industry‑standard KPIs such as CSAT scores, time‑to‑first‑value, and deflection metrics to measure content effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

15+ years of experience in technical writing, with at least 6+ years managing global technical writing teams in the unstructured data storage, SaaS, or hardware industry.

Ability to understand complex technical architectures, APIs, and developer tools; familiar with modern authoring tools such as SDL Tridion, Git, and Markdown‑based workflows.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, actionable, and user‑centric content.

Data‑driven mindset and experience using analytics and customer feedback to iterate on content and prove ROI.

Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
