Responsibilities The Campaign Analyst will employ knowledge of modeling and simulation, operations research techniques, and military operations to inform a variety of Secretary of the Air Force (SAF) focused analyses to inform force structure, capability acquisition, and force employment decisions using a variety of software tools. The analyst will apply their skills to solve highly complex problems using statistical analysis, parametric and non-parametric analysis, modeling and simulation, and data science techniques. The analyst will work on a team responsible for developing and executing analytical studies and methods to provide analytical insights to inform decisions spanning the DoW analysis challenges including capability trades, systems trades, and force structure analyses. The analyst will be responsible for developing and executing campaign-level representations of U.S., allied, and adversary forces executing warfighting concepts of operation in STORM.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Software Engineering, Operations Research, Data Science, or other technically-related areas of study
1+ years of experience in the analysis, development, and implementation of software, study planning, and execution
Strong desire to expand modeling, simulation, and analysis expertise
Active TS/SCI clearance
Able to work full-time at the SAF/SA client site (Pentagon)
Desired Qualifications Master's degree
Experience with the Synthetic Theater Operations Research Model (STORM)
Experience working with Python, R, MySQL/DuckDB, C++
Experience/knowledge of Space Operations and their contribution to the joint warfight
Pay Range VA Pay Transparency Salary range: $100K - $120K
