Responsibilities

Creation and posting of a weekly blog highlighting CCI material, including setting up and interviewing individuals for source material.

Content creation and bi‑weekly postings on various social media platforms to promote the Center and local CCI opportunities.

Collaborate with the CCI Program Manager to set and update the project calendar to ensure all content is planned at least two weeks in advance.

Regular updates to the CCI creative site, including the job, grant, and internship opportunities board.

Make occasional cross‑promotional posts for events hosted by other departments.

Manage social media engagement during events, such as Facebook/Instagram Live and other live posts.

Coordinate and schedule student interviews for spotlights and related blog features, maintaining flexibility for cancellations or rescheduling.

Review social media analytics to assess success and recommend improvements.

Assist in developing social media strategies to increase followership and engagement.

Collaborate with the Dean’s Office marketing staff to cross‑promote events on the official Chapman University accounts.

Manage photo albums on department drives and Google Drive.

Support any additional administrative needs or special projects assigned by the CCI Program Manager.

Required Qualifications
Little to minimal prior experience; ability to learn support processes. Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.

Desired Qualifications

CCI Minor.

Familiarity with Instagram, Wix, Later, Twitter, Facebook, Canva.

Some experience interviewing individuals for articles or stories.

Ability to work with minimal supervision.
