Open-Ended ML Baseline Engineer

Mercor is hiring experienced machine learning engineers as human baseliners. You will evaluate AI performance through self-contained ML tasks in a controlled environment, ideally working 20 or more hours weekly. Strong candidates will have 3+ years of experience and a background from a top-100 university or major tech firms.
Your role involves managing tasks, recording your efforts, and aligning machine evaluations with human benchmarks. Successful candidates will bring deep expertise in key ML areas like pretraining and dataset curation.
