About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) to lead the strategic evolution of its brand. The successful candidate will be responsible for re-framing the brand from a convenience-positioned service to an identity-positioned category leader, with a focus on the emotional and economic value of the category. This role requires a marketing executive with a proven track record in direct-to-consumer marketing, deep performance marketing fluency, and experience in leading a meaningful brand evolution while maintaining a strong performance engine. The CMO will also be tasked with owning the full marketing P&L, managing the team and agency roster, and leading the brand evolution to align with the company's growth ambitions.
Applicants for the CMO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience, with at least 10 years' in direct-to-consumer marketing leadership. The role demands a leader with a strong brand identity and premium positioning, capable of governing brand standards, and developing a cohesive brand experience across all customer touchpoints. The ideal candidate will have a background in multi-channel performance marketing, including digital, broadcast, and direct-response channels, and a proven ability to optimize conversion rates and site experience. Experience in team architecture, agency governance, and cross-functional coordination is essential, as is a personal connection to the mission of storytelling and memory recollection. The CMO must be a resilient, self-directed, and entrepreneurial individual, comfortable in a remote-first executive role, with a commitment to the company's values and a high level of personal integrity.
