Role Description
The Director of Product Commercialization is a full-time, on-site role based in Clarkesville, GA, responsible for leading the end-to-end commercialization of macaron products for retail customers. This role oversees product strategy, manages the lifecycle from concept to launch, and ensures alignment with market trends, customer requirements, and brand standards. Daily responsibilities include coordinating cross-functional teams (R&D, operations, sales, and marketing), developing launch plans, managing timelines and budgets, and optimizing product profitability. The director conducts market and competitive analyses, evaluates product performance, and implements continuous improvement initiatives in collaboration with internal stakeholders and retail partners. This position also supports process automation and customization capabilities to enhance scalability and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Strong product strategy and product management skills, with experience taking consumer products from concept to market.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret market data, financial metrics, and operational performance for data-driven decisions.
- Proven team leadership capabilities, including mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and stakeholder management.
- Solid project management skills to plan, execute, and monitor multiple commercialization initiatives on time and within budget.
- Experience in food manufacturing, CPG, or retail product commercialization is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal teams and retail partners.
- Comfort with on-site leadership in a production environment and familiarity with quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
