For our client, we are seeking a Senior Vice President Public Affairs And Advocacy to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will support revenue growth through customer focus, relationship development, and disciplined commercial execution. You will collaborate with sales, customer, product, and operational partners to identify opportunities, solve problems, and improve outcomes. The position offers the opportunity to strengthen market execution, customer relationships, and measurable business results within a Business Services environment.

Location: Washington, DC - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $215,000 – $295,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare leaders on public policy challenges
  • Lead integrated public affairs and government relations strategies
  • Advise clients on legislative and regulatory positioning
  • Oversee coalition development and multi-stakeholder initiatives
  • Collaborate with teams for cohesive, high-impact programs
  • Ensure high-quality client deliverables on time and within budget
  • Guide clients on political strategy and stakeholder engagement
  • Represent the firm through speaking engagements and thought leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant field; advanced degree preferred
  • 15 years in public affairs or government relations, with healthcare expertise
  • Experience advising senior executives on public policy
  • Strong understanding of healthcare policy at all government levels
  • Established network across healthcare and government stakeholders
  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex projects
  • Experience in revenue growth and budget managementExcellent communication skills and executive presence
  • Entrepreneurial mindset for building and navigating new offerings
