Job Objectives
- Underwrite both new and renewal Cyber, technology errors and omissions, privacy/security liability and miscellaneous E&O insurance business.
- Analyze, evaluate and underwrite Cyber liability risks.
- Analyze, evaluate and underwrite errors and omissions for Technology risks.
- Develop and manage broker relationships.
- Analyze potential clients and present evaluations at daily group discussions.
- Assist group in meeting monthly and annual production goals.
- Attend appropriate training sessions and conferences when deemed appropriate.
- Assist with special projects as needed under supervision of management.
- Responsible for developing new business production and broker relationships.
- Maintain existing broker relationships within assigned region.
- Manage more junior underwriters, as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 year(s) of insurance industry experience required.
- Minimum of 5 years Cyber insurance experience required.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Management experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent marketing, negotiating and communication skills.
- Strong technical and marketing expertise.
- General computer and office suite skills.
- Willingness to travel.
