Position Summary
Serve as marketing lead for obexelimab’s first anticipated commercial indication in IgG4-Related Disease (IgG4-RD), setting strategic direction for brand positioning, messaging, customer segmentation, market development, launch readiness, and commercial execution.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Strategy & Launch Readiness
Participate as Marketing lead in brand strategy across all customer audiences (positioning, messaging, differentiation, strategic choices).
Represent Marketing on the Integrated Brand & Launch Team; collaborate across brand, launch, and cross-functional workstreams.
Own marketing milestones, drive execution of marketing activities, and ensure alignment with brand strategy and commercial investment priorities.
Translate market research, advisory feedback, competitive intelligence, and field insights into brand strategies and tactical plans.
Brand Messaging, Market Development & Customer Engagement
Establish core brand messaging for specialists, KOLs, account stakeholders, and patient/caregiver audiences across all channels.
Lead development of disease education and promotional materials (concept to review/approval) aligned to brand strategy and regulatory requirements.
Contribute to market development strategy; drive marketing activities at congress, speaker bureau, and customer engagement initiatives with Strategic Engagement and Medical Affairs.
Partner with Sales and Training to equip field teams with messages, tools, and customer engagement resources.
Customer Segmentation, Channel Strategy & Insights
Lead customer segmentation and targeting across HCP, patient, and payer audiences.
Define integrated channel strategy with digital/analytics/agency partners (modular content, channel planning, touchpoints).
Use data/analytics to guide investment choices and optimize budget allocation.
Identify compliant, customer-centered education opportunities to strengthen HCP understanding of IgG4-RD and obexelimab.
Cross-Functional Leadership, Budget & Agency Management
Collaborate across Marketing, Sales, Access & Trade, Strategic Engagement, Analytics, Medical Affairs, Compliance, Legal, Regulatory, and Patient Support.
Lead agency partners to deliver on time and within budget.
Secure budget alignment for strategic brand and commercial marketing initiatives.
Champion cross-functional teamwork, urgency, continuous learning, and high execution standards.
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree; advanced degree in business, marketing, or life sciences preferred.
12+ years pharmaceutical/biotech marketing with brand ownership across audiences, Director-level strategic leadership, and launch experience.
Deep US market and specialty commercialization knowledge; strong cross-functional launch planning.
Proven customer-centric marketing strategy, positioning, messaging, and promotional/disease education asset development.
Experience with customer segmentation/targeting, integrated channel planning, and insight-driven resource allocation.
Strong project management; manage multiple high-priority workstreams and tight deadlines.
Executive communication, analytical, and influencing skills; shape commercial strategy and build senior alignment.
Experience navigating MLR review processes with Legal/Regulatory/Compliance/Medical Affairs.
Ability to travel ~30%.
Preferred
Immunology, inflammation, and/or rare disease experience; rheumatology/gastroenterology/systemic autoimmune or B-cell mediated experience.
Brand/HCP/patient/account marketing across multiple audiences, brands, or indications.
Modular content strategy; Veeva Vault PromoMats (or equivalent).
Field experience or close partnership with customer-facing teams.
