Position Summary
The HUB Commercial Manager is responsible for driving commercial sales growth, managing key customer relationships, overseeing commercial product initiatives, and ensuring operational execution throughout the HUB. This role serves as the primary leader for commercial sales strategy, account development, inventory coordination, training, and customer satisfaction while working cross-functionally with sales, operations, service centers, and support teams.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Sales & Business Development
Drive commercial sales growth and profitability through effective operational execution.
Develop, manage, and expand commercial customer accounts across existing and new sales channels.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key commercial customers to ensure long-term business success.
Analyze market conditions and competitive activity to maintain and strengthen market position.
Communicate pricing adjustments and monitor sales reporting metrics.
Customer Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for commercial customers, providing exceptional service and communication.
Maintain customer satisfaction and develop a deep understanding of customer operations and business needs.
Build strategic partnerships with commercial accounts to support ongoing growth opportunities.
Understand customer purchasing trends, challenges, and future needs.
Operations & Project Coordination
Coordinate sales, operations, inventory, training, and support resources to ensure successful project execution.
Manage in-house fabrication orders, equipment, and resources required to support commercial projects.
Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing field installations as needed.
Develop and implement processes related to commercial product management and account administration.
Training & Technical Expertise
Train and develop team members to enhance commercial product knowledge and expertise. Educate distribution center personnel on sectional door principles and engineering standards. Provide training on: Springing systems, Glazing systems, High Lift (HL), Vertical Lift (VL), and Low Headroom Rear (LHR) track configurations. Support the ongoing development of commercial product knowledge throughout the organization.
Process Improvement & Strategic Planning
Create, maintain, and improve tools and processes related to commercial products and customer management.
Work closely with marketing to develop materials supporting commercial sales initiatives.
Analyze business performance and develop strategies to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
Contribute to annual planning and business development initiatives.
Administrative & Compliance Responsibilities
Perform all required administrative and reporting functions.
Follow company data processing procedures and maintain accurate records.
Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.
Participate in Individual Development Plan (IDP) activities and achieve established training goals.
Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Experience
3-5+ years of commercial sales and management experience.
Commercial installation experience required.
Proven ability to grow sales, manage customer relationships, and execute operational initiatives.
Experience coordinating projects across multiple departments and stakeholders.
Education
College degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of commercial door products, installation methods, and industry standards.
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose field installation issues.
Proficiency with
Microsoft Office Suite
Windows-based systems
Sales reporting and data management tools
Knowledge of inventory management and operational processes
