Responsibilities

Define and deliver a differentiated global science storytelling strategy aligned with enterprise and R&D priorities.
Partner with senior R&D leaders to translate complex science into compelling, audience‑focused narratives.
Drive global media engagement to position the organization as a leader in scientific innovation.
Leverage data, insights, and analytics to shape predictive, outcome‑focused communication strategies.
Lead and develop a high‑performing global communications team, fostering continuous learning and growth.
Integrate AI‑enabled tools to enhance communication effectiveness, reach, and efficiency.
Optimize resources and budgets to maximize impact across communications channels.
Qualifications / Required

Extensive communications experience, including leadership roles within global, matrixed organizations.
Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical/life sciences R&D lifecycle.
Proven ability to partner with senior executives and influence at leadership level.
Demonstrated expertise in media relations and building global media strategies.
Experience using data and insights to develop outcome‑focused, measurable communication approaches.
Knowledge of AI trends and their impact on communications and information visibility.
Track record of building/leading/developing high‑performing teams in complex environments.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
Desirable

Bachelor’s or Master’s in a science degree.
