Summary : We are seeking an experienced LAMP Stack Developer to join our team onsite in Dublin, CA. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience building, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using Linux, Apache, MySQL, and PHP. This role requires someone who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a fast‑paced development environment, contributing to both new feature development and ongoing application support.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications using the LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).

Write clean, efficient, and well‑documented code following best practices.

Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including QA, DevOps, and Product to deliver high‑quality solutions.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner.

Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.

Work with relational databases (MySQL) to design schemas, write queries, and optimize performance.

Integrate third‑party APIs and services as needed.

Maintain documentation for application architecture, processes, and configuration.

Required Skills and Qualifications

4+ years of professional experience with LAMP stack development (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP).

Strong proficiency in PHP (procedural and/or object‑oriented).

Solid experience with MySQL database design, optimization, and query writing.

Working knowledge of Apache web server configuration and management.

Comfortable working in a Linux environment (command line, shell scripting, etc).

Experience with HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.

Familiarity with version control systems (Git preferred).

Understanding of web security best practices.

Strong problem‑solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work onsite with the team.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, CodeIgniter, or similar).

Exposure to RESTful API design and development.

Familiarity with front‑end frameworks such as jQuery or lightweight JS libraries.

Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Prior experience in a client‑facing or consulting environment.
